About the Owner
Being in the design industry for 23 years has allowed my skills and expertise to evolve with each project I have the opportunity to assist with. I have done it all from project managing, designing brand new kitchen and bathroom layouts, measuring homes for new flooring and window coverings, and even installing. I had no idea where my career would take me, nor did I realize how many friends I would meet along the way.
From Winnipeg, MB to Norman Wells, NWT, and hundreds of places in between my design skills have helped so many. I moved to Alberta from Manitoba to attend the Interior Design Technology Program at Lakeland College. I often reflect on my time as a student there, as this is where my passion for design truly started to blossom. As an alumni I have also had the opportunity to teach students who are enrolled in the same program. The Design Technology Program taught me numerous skills of the design industry that I use daily, and have since been enhanced throughout my past two decades of experience.
Social media platforms and magazine covers are increasingly the two most popular places that clients look to gather inspiration for their own homes and work spaces. Part of what makes my job so rewarding is being able to channel each client’s individual ideas and taste to create a space that reflects their lifestyle and personality. In my life as a designer, and entrepreneur, every day is different, every project is unique, and every client brings with them their own vision. With each renovation, new build, and product I sell, a space is transformed to meet clients’ visions. Perhaps one of the best rewards of completing a project is hearing my clients say, “This would not have been possible without you. Why didn’t I do this sooner?”
